Misogynists In The Minority
I spend alot of time on various websites - and most of those weblogs - gathering interesting posts to bring to The Uncommon Man. One of things I have found distressing is the amount of Men's Rights men who attack these site's comments sections compared to the amount of Feminist or neutral men who make comments. Sometimes it is only one or two, but other times it can be many more. The post below speaks to this phenomenon and reminds me that there are less misogynists than it seems in the world...

Ultimately, I think the problem is less the misogynists (because, for all that they can get particularly nasty, they are an extremist minority) and more unexamined privilege. It's the guys who mean well, but don't have the tools (or the drive) to actually translate their intentions into a reality. Because, I mean, they aren't a misogynist, so what are we women complaining about?
That said, I'd love to see more men interested in feminism (and already feminist/pro-feminist men) take a more active part in the feminist blogsphere. It can be disheartening when 75% of the male commenters I get are misogynist trolls.

Hello from Canada, I do have a comment about your statement, that only the female understands the true anthropogily: Why we are here in the 1st. place, please can you be more descriptive about why you are here and are you learning about the world and it's downfold,s but there is a space to improve and it has nothing to do with sexual orientation. Yours sincerely Peter.
